You know that is in the works a portion could go to a cause that helps musicians, similar to the compilation CD's being considered....possibly we could come up with a few different designs by some of the members?? :-)

Hello everyone, I join this group because I draw musicians - as you might know - and I have hundreds of pictures. I will print one of my drawings and my name on a T-shirt to show my profession - and I have the copyright of my drawings.......

Thanks d***. The idea dawned on me after I'd thought I had recognized a musician at a festival I was photographing. So I proceeded to introduce myself. Immediately after I guessed the connection might be TJNW, our conversation was on the same wave length. Believe me, it's always good to have a friend (or "family member") nearby when you're trying to work at a venue where nobody knows you.
Now had I been wearing my trusty TJNW baseball cap, that musician and probably five or ten others would probably have approached me and made my assignment alot easier.
Jaijai, if you're out there... "Wear" could we take this?

I'm all for T-shirts and caps. Jazz Network identity would be a great asset. Go for it, Jaijai.
I can imagine wearing it at all the jazz events and getting other folks in conversation about what this 'family' is all about. Can't wait.

Hi Leon well this is a splendid idea. TJNW has so much talent to offer here. I see there's one person whom has offered her artistic drawings of artist. I know there are more here as well. I think if the design was done with a water color effect. Of a few of the Jazz greats whom have paved the way for artist doing their thing now would be fabulous. Plus surely to recognize the JNW family it would be nice to have a symbol of a saxaphone with the letters TJNW on the caps and at the top of the t-shirts too. With the founder name JaiJai Johnson directly below that. Gold or white lettering always stands out really well. The colors on the t-shirts should be vibrant very vibrant too. Thats just a little something that came to mind. I'm sure there will be more and the donation is a sensational contribution to keep Jazz alive. I will also pray for the success of this project.
