About Artists Recording Collective

A r t i s t s R e c o r d i n g C o l l e c t i v e . i n f o

GREETINGS!

ARTISTS RECORDING COLLECTIVE is an American label brand that emphasizes promoting and facilitating the distribution and exploitation of works by a select group of artists. The A R C was co-founded by artists who were also among the very first pioneers employing viable uses of 21st Century technologies in the tangible areas of: product manufacturing, worldwide music distribution, digital g***** marketing and on-demand sales of recorded music.

ARTISTS RECORDING COLLECTIVE fills a niche for both the serious artist and their typically discerning fan, while also remaining committed to presenting only works of the highest artistic quality. The A R C is a new concept in creative music label branding...

ARTISTS RECORDING COLLECTIVE is vital in this age where most anyone can record, sell, manufacture and distribute music singles and CDs to the world, and it is fashionable to question whether or not record labels are still relevant. Granted, the 21st Century has provided many resources that allow music to reach listeners, customers and fans. However, the qualified needs for professional record labels exist for those artists who require a dynamic and multi-dimensional platform to present their works and services.

THANK YOU FOR VISITING!

Artists Recording Collective (ARC) feature in JAM

Jazz Ambassador Magazine did a one-page feature article on ARC that just came out in their latest issue - it was very nice and the text of the article is now available to read online (click the cover image above). Also, watch for the ARC featured as part of an upcoming Down Beat article too!

This group sounds like something with my same ideas and concerns. GREAT FINDING YOU. I also bring resources and am ready to share. I am actively involved in getting artists to start their own Internet television ("Tv") channels and promote them using social networks. I am a BIG fan of widgets and their implementation. Everyone take a look at Pax Stereo Tv (www.paxstereo.tv). If you like, you can build you own and I will even feature channels at my spaces. Chris , I am feeling you on this one! Peace.

The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!

Sarah Vaughan: A New Box Set Revels In Glorious Imperfections

Divine: The Jazz Albums, 1954-1958 packs four CDs with Vaughan's music, recorded live or in the studio with bands big and small. Two live albums from Chicago nightclubs are standouts, partly when a performance threatens to slide off the rails.

Rudresh Mahanthappa On Piano Jazz

Mahanthappa brings an explosive blend of jazz and South Indian classical music to the studio.

Grady Tate On Piano Jazz

Grady Tate began his jazz career as a much-celebrated drummer, backing such icons as Wes Montgomery, Ella Fitzgerald, and Quincy Jones. Tate has since traded in his skins for a microphone at center stage, where he delivers smooth and soulful baritone vocals. With pianist John di Martino, Tate sings "Everybody Loves My Baby" and "Where Do You Start."

Woody Herman At 100: 'A Blues Player From His Heart'

He was a soulful reedman, an amazing talent scout for decades and a bandleader of one of the country's most popular acts. Born in 1913, Herman led "Thundering Herds" that were both big draws and well-respected by the likes of Igor Stravinsky. Here are five recordings which still sound fresh today.

Edmar Castañeda And Friends On JazzSet

Hear passionate improvisation across borders on Colombian harp, Argentinian bandoneón, Venezuelan cuatro and vibes from the U.S. In a set with Castañeda, his trio and special guests perform at the Americas Society in New York.
