Healing Through Music Wellness

This is a unique gift, to bring music into retirement homes, long term care facilities, children's hospitals, homes for the aged, play flute, violin, piano, trio's, walk down the halls and play tunes for those bed-ridden....jazz heals, who's willing?

I love that! I know it is one of the most satisfying feeling to my soul to see smiles and bright eyes light up at the sounds of jazz, blues and soul stirring music while bedridden. Keep on keepin' on!

I've played in several facilities for MS patients and just the look on their faces would make you feel good about doing something for someone else. Try it, you"ll like it. Jono

Who do you get permission from to play your healing music in hospitals?

What are some of the testimonials you've gotten from people who used this alternative method of healing thru music?

Introducing Marcus Roberts And The Modern Jazz Generation

At Jazz at Lincoln Center, where he was once a rising star, the pianist returns with a new 11-piece band which combines his trio with many of the younger musicians he has mentored.

Anat Cohen & Choro Aventuroso At Jazz At Lincoln Center

She comes from Israel, lives in the U.S. and has a deep affinity for Brazilian music — especially the improvisatory instrumental music known as choro. The clarinetist leads a new quartet in concert.

Clark Terry, Ebullient Jazz Trumpeter, Has Died

A member of the Count Basie and Duke Ellington Orchestras, Terry also enjoyed a long freelance career which included jazz education and a featured slot in NBC's Tonight Show band. He was 94.

Jackie Cain On Piano Jazz

Cain lends her smooth, feathery voice to "Wait 'Til You See Her" and "You Don't Know What Love Is."

How To Turn A One-Man Band Into A 10-Piece Orchestra

When trumpeter and composer/arranger Steven Bernstein started working with the virtuoso pianist Henry Butler, certain unique ideas — "Henryisms" — came to the fore.
