Peace, Love and Respect Family -
I am here with an open mind, ear and heart to the potential of blending Spoken Word Expression with the soulful expression of the guitar - I'm in the DC area, but I can and will travel for the Art. Let's build together.

I've got a new jazz blues ballad for you..

when I wrote out these quirky jazz chords I'd found sounded cool together, I counted the measures and it was 10.. that brought immediate memories of miles'/bill evans' famous "blue in green" which was a 10 measure bluesy jazz ballad.. my changes are totally different but the bluesy feeling is the same.. so I thought of zappa and knew it had to again be me.. outside the box.. that's where i love to be.. "smooth smokey vocals".. "trademark awesome guitar playing"..

"haven't got a clue" is the 2nd player in my music stack.. under the default playing "find our way home"..

please have a listen and hear if you find it "daring".. lol..

cheers..

nicky

also got 2 CDs for you at cdbaby and the 3rd is on the way..

Hello Everyone. I've just recorded the first in a series of podcasts covering guitar technique. They are all free and have downloadable scores. The first covers walking bass, I vi ii V, mediant substitution and chord quality substitution. Pleases have a look and let me know what you think.

Hello, I'm also glad I found this place... guitarists are the most social and friendly musicians ever! (Except bass players, maybe... or? ;)
