I'm certainly with you on this.  I believe Esmeralda developed some "general" haters last year, based on this year's meager recognition from the coveted Grammy awards.

Hello JaiJai Duchess, I am still OnBoard,   as you perhaps have heard, I have Relocated to Southwest UK, where I am now living in Glastonbury, Ancient Isle of Avalon, in Somerset. I am Divorced, alone, and currently, unfortunately Unemployed. Previously, in Sweden, through my marriage I was Shareholder in a Traditional Bakery Cafe, Konditori, at HUMBLES BAGERI/Konditori, in Gnesta Kommun. During 20year period. I was consistantly involved with Preparations and Production. I presented Exhibitions in the Cafe of Local Artist, and Musicians from the surrounding area and engaging Jazz Musicians and Bands from Stockholm.. I Coordinated and Worked for my Husbands' Business, as well as conducted my Obligations to the CHELSEA GALLERY in Kanton Schaffhausen, in Neunkirch, Switzerland, since many many years (1975-Till)!  For CHELSEA GALLERY, a Prestigeous, Influential Private Institution of Exclusive Antiques, and Interior Decoration and Design Concepts. The Founder and Director Hans Soller, and his Father Ernst Mario Soller was my Mentor, and I served as Private CareTaker, for his Beloved Mother + Elisa Spitz-Soller.  Later his Father, and sadly for Herr Soller, as he himself sufferer'd various Medical Illnesses in terms of a 'Stroke'. Asside from these Experiences I have worked as a Research, and International Sales Representative in Fine Arts, Trade, Advertising, Commerce, and with max 38years, a Professional Fashion, and PhotoModell, (now Retired). I am sincerely interested in working in an Employed, longterm Project of Creative, and Dedicated Substance. Here in Glastonbury, is the Yearly International Music Festival Gathering.  I have not addressed the Noble Michael Eaves, although I  have met him, on various Informal and one Formal occassion at Pilchar Farm and elsewhere.  In these parts of the United Kingdom, a slight encounter with such a Squire Is a Big Deal!  As in Stockholm Bosse Persson is for the Stockholm Jazz Festival.

JaiJai. can you please consider Helping me?

your's Sincerely

The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!

Barbara Carroll On Piano Jazz

Pianist and singer Barbara Carroll was host Marian McPartland's second guest during the first season of Piano Jazz. Thirty years later, Carroll makes a return appearance to reminisce with her friend about their experiences at the Hickory House and the Oak Room. Carroll gives a charming performance of "Very Early" and McPartland improvises a musical portrait of her guest.

Duke Ellington: Highlights Of His Twilight

The great composer and bandleader was distraught over the 1967 death of Billy Strayhorn, his songwriting and arranging partner of 28 years. But Ellington took Strayhorn's passing as an impetus, born of necessity, to increase his own productivity. Here are five examples.

Chris Potter Quartet On JazzSet

At the Village Vanguard, one flight down from the hubbub of New York City, in a tight space packed with people, we're about to embark on a musical odyssey by sea. Our captain is saxophonist Chris Potter, who's launching his Odyssey-inspired album The Sirens.

Pat Metheny And John Zorn: A Vivid Sound World

The two artists are known opposites in the world of instrumental music. On Metheny's latest, the jazz guitarist wrings an unexpectedly visual listening experience from Zorn's knotty compositions.

Sarah Vaughan: A New Box Set Revels In Glorious Imperfections

Divine: The Jazz Albums, 1954-1958 packs four CDs with Vaughan's music, recorded live or in the studio with bands big and small. Two live albums from Chicago nightclubs are standouts, partly when a performance threatens to slide off the rails.
