I'm sick and tired of seeing that Jazz doesn't get its due at the Grammy's, It's time we all come together and have a strong voice... Who's with me?

You know if we get celebrities like Clint Eastwood (a huge jazz fan) we actually get sponsors to get involved.. That's really all it takes.. There are a choice few real celebrities that love jazz that would get involved.. Clint Eastwood's son Kyle is a great jazz musician.. he plays bass... He's been in Europe a lot although I don't know where he is these days.. We met him when Tom Scott and I played at a jazz club called Duc Des Lombardes in Paris... I think reaching out to some of our big name celebrity friends could be extremely helpful.
But Jaijai please let me know I'll do anything I can to help...

1-Jai Jai-Go to one of the Casinos-Pit some cash on the Roulette table and maybe the Gods will smile on you and you'll win a big jackpot so you can fund this
2-if we can get TMZ involved with the Zammys we'll be flush in cash
3-Raising money for music these days is very very difficult.many sponsors have pulled out of festivals ,etc.
A very very solid not pie in the sky plan has got to be presented to any investor sponsor. Expenses etc need to be really planned out and shown what the upside and downside are

Ok JaiJai. I for one am going to have a meeting with my Bank Consultant at SwedBank. You're my Best Motivation on this matter. On this 26th of this month I have already an Appointment. I let you know what Input I get from them. As you know I have some delicate issues on my schedule as well. My Plans are to make some Concrete Propositions.

Oh Jason, you gave me a good laugh, with all the people that are in here that has to be someone that is good at obtaining sponsorship, real sponsorship, the kind that will put the money up for this type of event. The Jazz Network's artistry can go far if we start thinking about regional concerts, east coast, south coast, west coast, north coast, mid west, come on people, it takes a community to bring forth our relationships, databases, and belief system that something can be done, real effective relationships that create movement are what I'm looking to see ocurr. I am only a one woman band and I have many ideas and priorities for all of you as a network and I look forward to all the ideas that God has placed in my heart but I am asking for support in areas that can bring forth actual movement to the next level. I am open to all conversation that aligns with the original concept. The Jazz Network Awards is the name of the show, its our form of The Jazz Grammy's and it has a voice and a loud one, so for those of you that sit in positions of funding, sponsorship and the like, I ask you to bring forth those relationships so we can create newly this day.

Love in heart and music,
Jaijai

You're right Jason, I bet it would work, you know how the media and the public are... a little dirt goes a long way.

If we want to really get attention why don't we give an award for the worst albums of the year.We could call it the Zammy's
Every media outlet would cover it and then we can really raise money to flip it in to the Jazznetwork awards.

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
