Jazzen Music Group is offering two exciting groups now. Established Smooth Jazz Artist "Freeport" and a new Jazz Fusion group "4th Street Project". 4th Street was formed targeting festivals/concerts via song selection and energy. Want details? Click on the bands names or visit us on line at www.JazzenMusicGroup.com.

Making yourself known throughout the network is key, you can't just post a page here and let it sit and hope that someone finds you. The site can be used as a database by using the upper right corner search bar and key in what you are looking for. Anyone who has those keywords in their pages will show up. Start pluggin' yourselves, its imperative, there are many artists here that need to bring themselves to the forefront, as well as promoting their work on the homepage, to stand out of the crowd.

Joyce,
On your own page here you can load up all the videos of yourself you like along with putting your music in the music player, no need to create any other pages, you lead the agents right to your page where they can see, hear & read and hopefully BOOK! :-)

I'm just trying to kick up the booking agents here to take a look at all this great talent here and to give some chances to those that they deem marketable for their particular clientele.

Yes, Fabrizio! It would be nice to do. And by the way, I'm based in Milan. If you guys ever need a jazz vocalist, get in touch if interested. I'm in Paris often on getaway trips to visit friends...☺

The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!

Sarah Vaughan: A New Box Set Revels In Glorious Imperfections

Divine: The Jazz Albums, 1954-1958 packs four CDs with Vaughan's music, recorded live or in the studio with bands big and small. Two live albums from Chicago nightclubs are standouts, partly when a performance threatens to slide off the rails.

Rudresh Mahanthappa On Piano Jazz

Mahanthappa brings an explosive blend of jazz and South Indian classical music to the studio.

Grady Tate On Piano Jazz

Grady Tate began his jazz career as a much-celebrated drummer, backing such icons as Wes Montgomery, Ella Fitzgerald, and Quincy Jones. Tate has since traded in his skins for a microphone at center stage, where he delivers smooth and soulful baritone vocals. With pianist John di Martino, Tate sings "Everybody Loves My Baby" and "Where Do You Start."

Woody Herman At 100: 'A Blues Player From His Heart'

He was a soulful reedman, an amazing talent scout for decades and a bandleader of one of the country's most popular acts. Born in 1913, Herman led "Thundering Herds" that were both big draws and well-respected by the likes of Igor Stravinsky. Here are five recordings which still sound fresh today.

Edmar Castañeda And Friends On JazzSet

Hear passionate improvisation across borders on Colombian harp, Argentinian bandoneón, Venezuelan cuatro and vibes from the U.S. In a set with Castañeda, his trio and special guests perform at the Americas Society in New York.
