Greetings,

I just finished (Oct.) my CD Udongo Dreams inwhich most of the tunes were influence by the hikes I took and the oceans and sunsets there. I believe it is a true healing soundscape for me.....www.udongodreams.com...and feel free to add your thoughts on how you feel it does for you.....Wsir

Many musicians myself amongst them - talk about how music has helped heal their lives, but not enough is realized about the incredible physical and psychological changes that occur in the body of the person that is listening to a music that is pleasing to them. (And that's no even including the story- or message- content of the lyrics. Like, remember the last time you heard an amazing ballad and could feel the hair on your arms standing up?)
Assuming that our music is just 'something nice to listen to' is like assuming that freshly made fruit juice every morning is merely 'something that quenches the thirst'.
There are many books and articles out on the subject and I'll be adding more comments later, because it has been one of my major interests in the last years.
