Little Mermaid Copenhagen 07
I braved a cool downpour to climb down the slippery rocks to see the The Little Mermaid up close. The Mermaid statue gets stolen by locals as pranks and had recently been returned.

As you can see I'm a bit of an adventuress and thought what's the point in showing the statue if I can't show how close I can get to it (no one said don't cross the railing)
After all I flew almost 20 hours to get that statue !!!!
I can't tell how hard that rain came down (thus the squinting) and how slippery it was, at one point I started sliding backward, downslope and thought..... as soon as I fall into the water everyone person on the tour bus facing me will take that picture... I'm cracking myself up right now:) that's why I love to travel!

This is funny and strange Evette, I was just watching PBS's Globetrekker Travel Series and, this image of the mermaid was in the footage. This famle host was peering at the "Little Mermaid" from a little bridge as well as speaking on it's folklore origin.:) Neat photos! Safe travels..Noelle:)
The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!
