Tell us a little about your background...
3rd Scenario is the veteran collaboration of two of L.A.'s most promising Jazz/Funk/ R&B visionaries -- Scott "Bugs" Allen, 2005 N.A.A.C.P. Theatre award-winning musical director, a native of Baltimore, MD met multi-talented Guitarist/Vocalist Earl "Tee" Harris, (Improm2, Stephanie Mills, BeBe Winans, Euge Groove) a Chicago son, 12 years ago at an audition for the now defunct Soul/Pop band Back2Back (Scene 1). This gifted duo seeking a more "cutting edge" project branched off with several of its departing members for a second project, but were still unsatisfied with the results (Scene 2). Finally, Allen and Harris decided upon taking the name "3rd Scenario". The name is meant to pay homage to both men being 3rd generation; Harris in namesake, and Allen in family musical legacy. The name also represents their third and final attempt at uncompromising musical excellence. In this effort, they would align themselves with only the best musicans available, thus raising the bar, and have been making their mark on stages and in the studios of L.A. ever since. With their national debut CD "It's About Time..." primed for world-wide distribution, 3rd Scenario has inked a deal with the Spectra Jazz label of Spectra Records. Their sound has been called sophisticated and funky! Their live stage shows with sidemen who rank among the elite session musicians in the industry have been described by the local jazz press as "The Dynamic Duo of FunkJazzSoul..."

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
