Brandon Marceal is a force to be reckoned with on his flute. This former “Atlanta’s Future of Jazz” finalist is creating quite a buzz by presenting a refreshing and soothing voice to Contemporary Jazz, Gospel, Hip Hop and R&B. Having dedicated decades pursuing a pure passion for the flute, Brandon Marceal now has mastered using intonation to make the flute a voice for his personality. This expertise has audiences exclaiming, “That’s one SoulRockinFlute!”
When Brandon Marceal plays flute, he creates a connection to the soul. The tone heard with every fluttering breath is enchanting and mesmerizing. Whether playing a cover tune or an original composition, each song is infused with a spirit and passion all its own. While most hear and see the flute being used as a doubling instrument, Brandon plays the flute exclusively and aggressively. His variety of soulful melodies induces an invigorating yet calming voice to any musical composition.
With over 20 years having past since blowing his first notes on the flute, Brandon has been performing for audiences from local elementary schools to national television shows. Some notable venues are the Word Network's "The Lexi Show," CBS’ “Better Mornings” and the annual Sweet Auburn Festival in Atlanta; his last song placement was in the Universal Pictures international theatrical release, Idlewild. Rapper Nicki Minaj has recently taken notice of Marceal's awesome improvisational/"freestyle skillz," having named him "Best of the Bass" after singling him out of thousands of submitted videos. Brandon’s talents extend far beyond performing; he's also a composer, arranger and songwriter. Brandon Marceal's true passions are creating beautiful music and performing!

Man, this is a trip... I was just thinking I should hit YOU up with a friend request, just in the last couple hours. Since we both are "flute-lovers", and here in the AtL, it's a natural. Can't believe we haven't yet crossed paths...
Dig your music....
Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.
I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.
My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."
Let's be audacious, my friends!
