Tell us a little about your background...
While I have my personal style, I often enjoy mimicking the pioneers in Jazz and Gospel. Especially Sarah Vaughan, and Ella Fitzgerald. I have been deeply involved in teaching children in church since I was a child.

These artists hold a special place in my heart where I can almost tell you where I was when I enjoyed a particular song so long ago.

All my instructors discouraged me from singing loud and fast, saying that I would damage my vocal chords and cut my singing years short. Perhaps to a degree it would have been profitable if I had pursued Opera, however there was no space for it in my small community. Church music was even minimized.

As I go on from here, I notice more artist are going all the way, which is the way I think about a gift that God has given. There is no rule of stopping. Only GOING ON. SING A SONG. IN ANY SEASON. ALL DAY LONG.

i ENJOY SINGING FOR SENIORS WHO MOST LIKELY WOULD NOT SEE A LIVE PERFORMANCE IF THEY HAD TO LEAVE THEIR RESIDENCES. We usually serve lunch which says everyone is welcome at no charge.

I have been a few places like "THE HOLLAND AMERICAN CRUSE LINE, CARNEGIE HALL, "NORWEGIAN CRUSE LINE", CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIP", AND VARIOUS THEATERS,AND HOTELS, AND CHURCHES ALONG THE WAY. I have a family of singers with whom I did concerts sometimes more than once each year. Singing is my greatest joy. and has become my work.
