- I've been writing songs since my early teens. For the past ten years I have focused on writing American Songbook style tunes in hope of furnishing jazz singers with new songs that fit in well with the old standards. I pride myself on writing lyrics and melodies that adults will want to sing. I'm also very open to collaboration. Those of you who know Faith Gibson's work may be aware of "Between the Lines", which we co-wrote. We're currently working on several more new songs.
FAITH GIBSON's new CD Big Moon is out! And it's packed with great original songs, including four of mine: Big Moon (yup, the title track); That's Right, It Was You; Scratch It; and Diamond Edge--plus the song Faith and I co-wrote, Between the Lines. It also features wonderful new songs by Faith, Dave Gill, Gill & Bancroft, and Emmanual Herrault, along with Faith's beautiful takes on tunes by Duke Ellington and Irving Berlin. Don't miss it.

Great Review For Faith Gibson and Me

Sometimes you just know. It takes two or three tunes to verify it, but as the well-written originals continue, one can distinguish quality song writing. Faith Gibson, a new name to me, contributes a few tunes here and turns other selections over to very hip wordsmith Christopher Morse. His melodies, along with those of others here, are fresh and invigorating. And Ms. Gibson interprets these tunes in an ultra-cool but totally unpretentious manner that she’s seemingly perfect for the task. Gibson chooses a small jazz group, all unknown names to me, to provide ideal, understated backup. The two standards on the disc are also performed with pizzaz. Gibson isn’t going to spin your head around with show biz shtick. Instead there’s a touch of Meredith d’Ambrosio or Lorraine Feather here and there. In any case, I really liked her approach and wouldn’t mind hearing more from her.

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.
I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.
