My vocalese-style tribute to Charlie Parker based on Gershwin's "I Got Rhythm" (rhythm changes), but done as a jazz waltz instead of the usual 4/4 treatment. Pretty melody."

Cindy...bravo for leaving the corporate world to follow your heart, and art....well done indeed....enjoyed the samplings on your website, and it will be interesting to see where your arranging tastes lead you in the next few years....the personnel on the cuts i heard are all top notch indeed...and the cuts that truly knocked me out are the cuts that give enough space to your vocal artistry, and allow for the individualism with your musicians to frame your vocals with their artistry, the balance and space in those particular cuts is spectacular....lovely indeed.... I'd love to move to New Orleans, it's always been one of my favorite cities, in the world....I took the shot above in '74, and I can still hear "Sweet Emma" everytime I look at the photo... my very best to you ....always b

The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!
