- Jazz singer, family person, student of life and music, I love to perform and to entertain with music that is close to my heart. Sometimes it's the lyric that touches me, sometimes it's the groove, sometimes it's the changes, and most often it is all three that make a great tune that I want to present to you. I work with the finest jazz musicians in South Florida interpreting The Great American Songbook, Bossa Nova, and Latin jazz at concerts, clubs and private events.

Ever have to sing with laryngitis?
For some years I worked in corporate America (for health insurance) while raising my two children. One of the side effects of that life was the exposure to chilly A/C and the ills of the dozens of coworkers in the confined offices and meetings. I was singing on the side (I prefer to say I was singing and "working" on the side...), but was constantly plagued with colds, bronchitis, laryngitis and throat infections. Seldom do you meet a person who impresses you with both brilliance and kindness. Recently, I met such a person. Her name is Jaijai Jackson. I was drawn to her like a moth drawn to a flame. Her love of music is highly spiritual and her understanding of the business is remarkable. After many years in the music business, it is refreshing to meet someone like her.
Historians will research our arts to characterize our culture in the future. Contributions by those who tirelessly support our significant art forms will help to define us. Jaijai has become a key ingredient toward that future and her importance to the jazz world cannot be overstated.
