Edward Brown lll has not received any gifts yet

Edward J. Brown III has been coined a “universal artist” because his ability to play many styles of music warrants this monicker and has certainly etched his mark performing Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Latin Jazz, Calypso, R&B, and Gospel for thirty plus years.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles he worked his way through school and had the opportunity to have private lessons with world renowned artist Henry Butler and recording artist Billy Childs.
Edward toured with The Rose Brothers, opened for New Edition and Doug-E-Fresh in the early eighties as well as working at all the surrounding local jazz venues. He became entrenched in the theatre scene working with some of Los Angeles’s top producers in musicals and plays from Debbie Allen, James Ingram and Keith Andes in the musical, “The Bayou Legend”, as a lead keyboardist and composer. His original training started with classical piano while at Cerritos College and Dominguez University.
For twelve years Edward held the seat as lead pianist at Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles as well as utilizing his classical training with its chorale choir. Edward composed, produced and engineered his first solo project “DREAM” and is excited about his latest project that will feature his straight ahead jazz chops. He brings a wealth of versatility to his performances and enjoys utilizing his theory and composition training in his own state of the art digital studio and looks forward to producing other artists as well. Be sure to listen to "Brazil" a sneak-peek of my next CD project "Evening Breezes".

The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!
