- By virtue of his marvelous baritone, easy swing, and deep blues feeling, Jamie Davis has a secure place in the pantheon of great male vocalists. He’s performed all over the world with the likes of Patti Austin, Tony Bennett, George Benson, Rosemary Clooney, Jimmy Cobb, and Billy Cobham, and for three years beginning in 2000 he traveled and performed as the lead vocalist for the Count Basie Orchestra.
