Tell us a little about your background...
Studied voice, taught beginner voice, born into a long line of professional musicians, performed in blues and jazz bands (smooth jazz, standards), former worship music director. As a presenter of Sound Therapy workshops, I teach people how to use sound, voice and music for health. A brief explanation of Sound therapy is located on the photo of some of the sound healing instruments. I also have been a member of a group that gently sings bedside to those who are bed-ridden and/or terminally ill. It can be a hymn, an old standard, or any favorite song. I love all good music, but Jazz is the genre that makes my personal world a brighter place! My 88 year old mother still gigs and she always says, "It's the music that keeps me young!"
