cd Jazz project2 "ALL BY MYSELF 2009"

Every single voice you hear is the result of many voice-debuttings Rosini made by himself, creating, together with his piano performances, a product every jazz lover must have.
cd jazz "BE MY LOVE 2006"

This solo CD is infused with the most unique piano jazz improvisations I’ve heard recorded in years. Mario Rosini, a professor of music and a pianist in Italy, is exceptionally talented, as his riffs take off from the ballad, but never lose the intrinsic theme. Rosini includes rapturous standards, likeSomeday My Prince Will Come and Here’s that Rainy Day. He even adds his own Tango composition, with the authentic rhythms and tones of the genre.
Notable Tracks:
#4 - 02.00 pm - Composed by Mario Rosini. Rosini has composed a cheerful, spritely piece, with lyrical syncopation and swinging motifs. He races about the keyboard, almost to its conclusion, in melodic animation. The presentation is imbued with euphoric jubilation.
#5 – Softly As In a Morning Sunrise - Composed by O. Hammerstein and S. Romberg. With rapid, winding trills, Rosini enhances this standard with contemporary skill, building on musical fragments and twisting them into a seamless, surprise-filled serenade. Rosini plays with a clear, energetic style that’s often missing in solo piano ballads. He grabs the listener’s imagination.
#8 – Mr. Tanghero - Composed by Mario Rosini. With a hint of Piazzolla, Rosini is clearly in his element in Nuevo Tango Jazz. Although the music is not danceable, it’s surely evocative of a smoky Buenos Aires Milonga. The track is brief, like a dance, and serves as a window into Rosini’s inspiration.
#9 - Here’s that Rainy Day - Composed by J. Burke and J. Van Heusen. Rosini’s interpretation of this usually melancholy ballad has upbeat ornamentations and jazzy refrains. His fingers dance with amazing speed and precision.

It was so good to hear from you, thanks for thinking of me.
I've been listening to your music for about 45 minutes, just sort of meandering through your site. I am absolutely blown away by your incredible talent-- your piano playing and your soft and mellow voice. If I were only in Italy to take adantage of hearing you live, it would be wonderful. I would love to purchase your "Be My Love" CD. Great songs, Here's That Rainy Day, is one of my favorite tunes.
I had the pleasure of being in an audience of Jazz trumpeter, Chris Botti, recently at a winery in Temecula, CA. Is he well known in Italy? Other than than, just getting out to hear some local jazz and singing when the occasion arises.
By the way, my husband has relatives in Palermo. My grandparents came to America from Benevento, Italy.
Stay well.
Patty
