Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.
I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

Tell us a little about your background...
I Began the study of music at the age of 4. I started playing professionally at the age of 6. I studied classical music until the age of 16 then began touring with a dance band playing Soul, R&B, Rock & Funk. At the age of 18 I got a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. While studying in Boston I met and was befriended by the iconic pianist Bill Evans. I also studied privately with both Madamme Chaloff and Harvey Diamond.
After leaving Boston I moved to San Francisco Bay Area. There I worked extensively as the "house" pianist at the Keystone Korner and while there continued to study with Bill Evans and played, recorded & toured with Cleo Laine, John Dankworth, Pharoah Sanders, Art Farmer, Clifford Jordan, Bobby Hutcherson, Joe Henderson, Joe Lovano, Chico Freeman, Grady Tate, Bobby McFerrin, Maria Muldaur & Shorty Rogers just to name a few.
I also started Monarch Records while in the Bay Area which resulted in the release of several CDs which featured my original compositions and my arrangements of several "classic" standards. (1)"Dream Walkin' (2) "The Tribe" (3) "Birthight"& (4) "Isn't Art It" Then I moved back to Texas and continued to compose and produce CDs like, (5) "Kindred Spirits" (6) "Suite Mother" & (7) "The Shed" (all on my publishing company & label Caralittle Music)
I am currently in partnership with singer / songwriter Kara Stevens together we have written the music for and created "The Band Kara" under our own label & publishing company Karalittle Music ASCAP Our first release "Passion" is available world wide on All of the digital media's as well as our website www.gotkara.com.
