Tell us a little about your background...
Multi-instrumentalist - drums, flute, beatvox, percussion, keyboards, vibes and composer interested in a wide range of musical genres, especially fusion - Miles, Zawinul, Chick C, McLaughlin, H Hancock, Duke, Zappa, Santana, Tony Williams (a major inspiration as a drummer) Mouzon, Cobham, Bobby Colomby as well as Grady Tate, Hal Blaine, Buddy Rich, Bonham, Ginger Baker, Elvin Jones, Acuna, Erskine, Ed Thigpen, Philly Joe and of course the sublime Coltrane, along with luminaries such as the visionary Roland Kirk (my inspiration as a flautist) the exquisitely tasteful Bill Evans and of course the originator - Bird. Not forgetting Rollins, Shepp, Coleman, Saunders, Gabor Szabo, Metheny, Jaco et al as well as Hendrix, Doors, Led Zep, Jam, Who, Floyd, BST, Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, classical and choral music.

I lead and run two outfits MYSTERIES OF THE REVOLUTION & THE RED ORCHIDSTRA. The Orch was formed before MOTR and had a big 'hit' with Roy Budd's theme from the Brit '71 gangster movie "Get Carter"

"Get Carter" has now been re-mastered & is being re-released in album form on the 21st September 2010.

I'm also a painter and filmmaker and a great admirer of the late Robert Rauschenberg who was an electrifying influence on painting and whose work still looks as fresh today, as the day it was created.
