Rob is a native New Yorker with over 25 years experience in the music industry as a professional musician, band leader / musical director and entertainment booking agent. He studied Drums with such famous musicians as: Gary Chester, Sonny Igoe, percussionist Jack Jennings and Steve Rutger of the University of Miami.
As a very versatile and diverse drummer on the scene today, he has toured nationally with the Broadway Musical Productions "A Chorus Line" and "Camelot". He has worked for nine cruise lines and has traveled the world on board fourteen cruise ships performing as Drummer and Show Band Leader. Rob has performed with Nell Carter, The Temptations, The Platters y The Marvellettes.
After moving to Miami, Florida in 1986, he played with Jazz great multi-instrumentalist Ira Sullivan, trumpeter Pete Minger, Latin Jazz Recording Artist Nestor Torres, and saxophonist / educator Greg Diaz. For more than eight years, Rob has held down the drum chair with guitarist, percussionist, jazz educator and clinician Steve Gryb for all his musical ensembles, as well as, recording Steve Gryb's "Listening to Jazz" Video published by Prentice-Hall, distributed to Colleges and Universities throughout the United States. As musical Director, Rob Citron's "East Coast Rhythm Players" featuring Jazz, Blues Diva Teri Wilson performed throughout S. Florida and Dubai, The United Arab Emirates for Grosvenor Productions. Drummer/percussionist with The Miami Philharmonic Steel & Percussion Orchestra (featured in the Orange Bowl Parade, and the Percussive Arts Societies "Day of Percussion"). Rob now lives in Barcelona, Spain since 1997.
During his eleven years in the Ciudad Condal as drummer and entertainment booking agent, he has provided his services for Mas i Mas (Jamboree, La Boite, and La Cova Del Drac Clubs), Maremagnum, Puerto de Barcelona, Feria de Barcelona, Centro Comercial Les Glories, Hotel Arts, Majestic, Princesa Sofia and Casa Batlló, Port Olimpic, La Cala Morisca, Roda de Bará Camping, Camping Tamarit and Camping Stel and many others.

He is still actively involved as consultant and independent recruiting agent for the various cruise lines based in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.
