Tell us a little about your background...
Hello, new jazzy friends! I'm brand new to this site, so I'll simply tiptoe to start, ok? (smile). I am a songwriter/singer, though I have yet to actually record my myriad original songs/tracks. I mean, it's all in my head...I'm about to burst! LOL. I have neglected my first love (song-writing) for far too long (cares of life, ya feel me?). But I'm missing it something fierce, and so I'm coming back home! I wrote the song "I'm Still Your Baby" in the middle of the night one evening and taught/forced myself to record it on Sonar right then and there, so I wouldn't forget it. But I'm hardly an engineer, so be gentle. ;) I promise to get some tunes up here and running real soon. In the meantime, I am enjoying listening to the very gifted and entertaining TALENT on this very cool, inspiring site! I love (and write) many styles of music (especially Gospel...not only the traditional genre, but definitely the spiritual content, in any style) always have - always will, God willing. ;)
(Wanna be real? Well I'll tell ya' - Oh how I long for an anointed producer/arranger to sweep me off my musical feet and get these songs the Lord has given me outta my head and into the world to feed His sheep!) Keep me in your prayers, o.k.? In the meantime, God bless!!!

If you could let me know by the first week of March that would be nice. I do understand the finance thing though and wish I could be such a baller that I could take care of all accomodations. This is my first CD, my first release party and I'm really excited. To have you your gifts skills and talents there would be a special treat. Think and pray about it. We will have other times cause I know this is for sure the beginning of great things for me.

Ms.Roca, I thank you for the love and support. I know we have a distance thing, but technology can bring us closer together. What are you using to record? ProTools, Logic,Nuendo? Maybe we can help each other to the next level.

Roca, believe me, I feel you. When I want people to take me serious, they treat me with total cynisim and disrespect, when I want to have fun and just be all I am, just another imperfect human being, they take me way too serious. But with all this we are still more than conquers. I love your baby picture Lol. They try to call me a Momma on myspace, Lol, that I ain't. I'm all man, but I do care about others.

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!

Buster Williams
