Blocked from Blair House

Brian Goldsmith

Former Political Producer at the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric

If I were the political editor at a newspaper -- or Washington bureau chief of a network -- I'd call in my White House team, as well as the investigative reporters, and ask them to try to answer the following questions:

1. Given that the Obamas want to move to Blair House ten days before… Continue

Barack Obama's Grandmother dies

Barack Obama's grandmother Madelyn Dunham has died from cancer, aged 86. Dunham helped raise Obama from age 10. The Democratic presidential candidate visited her in Hawaii last month, saying she may not live until election day.

We need a President who believes the economy should work for everyone, not just the few. We need a President who believes everyone should have access to affordable healthcare. We need a president who believes we should end the war in Iraq.

We need a President with good judgment and integrity, who appeals to what unites us. That' why I'm supporting Barack Obama for President.

We're just a few days from Election Day, and all the campaign's efforts are devoted to getting… Continue

A Conservative Republican for Obama

My party has slipped its moorings. It's time for a true pragmatist to

lead the country.

Leading Off By Wick Allison, Editor In Chief

THE MORE I LISTEN TO AND READ ABOUT "the most liberal member of the

U.S. Senate," the more I like him. Barack Obama strikes a chord with

me like no political figure since Ronald Reagan. To explain why, I

need to explain why I am a conservative and what it… Continue

Thanks Sharon

I truly appreciate your comments about my video. I love playing that song with the keyboardist in the Video. I never know what he's going to do with it and that keeps things interesting.

You've got some great music on your page -- I'm going to have to come back and listen to a few more tunes when I get a chance.

Enjoy your day

Happy New Year.

From an anointed church service, a cozy restaurant, a birthday surprise at work, to your back yard family reunion, he'll be ready to "make it do what it do". From inspirational tunes, jazz, R&B, Top-40 and if they act right, a little Rock and roll for your soul.

Artists such as Michael McDonald, Anita Baker, Gloria Estefan, DeBarge, Grover Washington,Jr, John Cougar, Yolanda Adams, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Kirk Franklin, Simply Red , and of course originals from himself are just a few that he will play and play well.

Just log on to www.mightyhornmusic.com, e-mail him at mightyhornmusic@aol.com or just let your fingers do the walking at 786 487-7338 or 954-9-TRAVIS. Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
