Thomas Rotter displays his soulful versatility as an instrumentalist and as a composer on this debut album. It features 10 beautiful original compositions by Thomas. The tunes seem to have special qualities: two songs from album, "Rainsong" and "No way out", were several weeks among the "Top Ten Jazz compositions" on the composers platform "
sibeliusmusic" in 2000. (view screenshots

The just released CD includes some special guests from Brazil: one of the most busy brazilian drummers; André "Limao" Queiroz from Belo Horizonte, who worked with top musicians like Toninho Horta or Maria Schneider, and, last but not least, Cléber Alves on tenor-and sopranosaxes. Cléber is also from Belo Horizonte and gained some special reputation for his 2006 released album "Revinda" which was choosen as the "best instrumental album" from Minas Gerais.
