A Jazz Vocalist who loves to doodle on the keys, Toni has performed all around, in & out, up & down Ghana. She has been the group leader of two all male groups, "Jazz Inspiration" & now the "Jazz Tone All Stars" named after her "No. 1" Ghana Jazz Club & Resturant founded in 2002. Coming from a musical family she began piano lessons around the age of 11 & played Cello in Mount Vernon's Junior High Orchestra in Los Angeles. With a genuine love for music she returned to the field after working with youth in undeveloped areas and Acting on some major stages in Atlanta. This helped reconnect her to that first love. She then headed back to Los Angeles and studied voice, theory & other music classes at LACC. She hooked up with an 17 year old by the name of Eloit Douglass and they went on to Osaka, Japan to perform for half the year. upon returning to the U.S., she returned to Atlanta and opened "Intown Sheet Music Store on Peachtree Street where she hired 7 music teachers to teach and also carried the largest supply of Jazz sheet music for a small independent store in Atlanta. After several years of running the store and teaching vocal classes on faith, she consolidated and returned to complete school. Clark College (BA) Mass Communications/Music 87' & San Deigo State (MA) Multicultural Counseling 88'. CAU (DA) ABD Humanities 96'. Again, drawn back to her love, worked for the community college district as a performer in resident for Senior Citizens & a youth Choir Director for a large church in San Diego.
Moving to Ghana in 1997 she began a full time performance career as a Jazz Vocalist at the Golden Tulip Hotel, LaPalm, Novotel & Crown Apartmento Hotel. Through these perfomances she had the opportunity to perform for two of the Presidents of Ghana, UN Summit, Louis Sullivan Summit, numerous Ambassadors, NGO's, major events and keeping Jazz Alive in Ghana. She was a judge for the Mentor TV show in Ghana. Has been interviewed on radio and seen on many international shows performing live on shows such as "Studio 53" which is shown on the entire African Continent, Carribean TV, Italian & CBS news, to name a few.
Born and raised in Los Angeles (Angel), turned Georgia Peach & now a "Black Star" after having lived in Ghana West Africa for 11 years. Owns a Jazz Club called "Jazz Tone" which is located in (Labone) Accra, Ghana West Africa. Performs at least 3 nights a week. Has also performed in Japan, Togo, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York.

Hi Toni,
Would love a booking at your Jazz Club in Ghana this winter. So far, the only place I've performed on the Continent was Egypt...been looking for inspiration to visit Ghana.
