- Gigging and traveling for 40 years in original and cover bands. The last 14 years as a solo performer, arranging and sequencing all my material. I hustle gigs anywhere I can, but my real passion is songwriting. All songs I post are originals. I love it. Too much fun. I'm a hard working, blue-collar, gigging guy, and more.

Hi and blessings!
Although I've not physically met Steven Charles, or Karen Greene, or you yet, it is true we are much more alike, than we are different.
Steven and Karen both agree that the best way to promote this jazzy culture is to "Be the change you want to see". (Gandhi).
No good comes of criticizing, condeming, or otherwise complaining about other's tastes in music, or lack of enthusiasm, support, or venue.

I am exploring the music scenes in many of our cities this spring and looking to settle into a new groove and life somewhere. In discussions with many of you about your experiences and perspectives on venues, support, art, and general vibe around your towns, I hear lots of concerns about a diminishing jazz scene and gig opportunities across the board. There is a spiritual solution, to every problem. It is a law.
If you are suffering, and you will suffer at some time it is inevitable and guaranteed, remember there is a spiritual solution that will lessen your suffering and even end it. The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!
