I was a prof of piano at Berklee for 17 years, now direct the Dave Frank School of Jazz in NYC, teaching privately live and via skype. I'm the author of Hal Leonard's best-selling book series Joy of Improv. I do monthly free jazz master classes in NYC that are streamed and preserved at www.ustream.com I record solo piano CD's for the JAZZHEADS label, and was a long-time student of Lennie Tristano and Charlie Banacos.
