Thanks for adding me on here! I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a jazz saxophone player -- Been one all my life. Started playing gigs in New York City when I was 15 years old. Now I live in Houston, and I released my debut album last year. I'd played on lots of other artists' albums, but I was always more focused on live performances for myself. I'm pretty happy with my album though! If you are interested you can check it out: http://larryslezak.com/blog/buy-the-album/.
If you get a chance, I'd love to learn more about you! Message me back if you have time.
I just wanted to come by to say HI and to also mention that your music won't play because it has to be in an mp3 format. It doesn't take any other extentions. You will have to delete what you put up and load up one song at a time, I know, :-( I'm sorry, I just want you to have the music you wanted.
Nice piccolo trumpet pic. Many people think the trombetto is a piccolo trumpet because it's short (10 inches from the mouthpiece to the bell. Actually it's 17 inches longer than a regular trumpet and it's much heavier. That's why
i can play down to the lowest C on the piano. glad you like the sounds.
Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.
I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.
My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."
