Tell us a little about your background...
I have been trained for classical oud(ud) performance by a passed away artist, Mr KONAKCI, Saim, a “Mevlevi” sufi and a "jazz-believer". I tried, to a certain end, to add-up riht hand nail pulling style on traditional oud performance of all genres, in some limited harmonic chords within the physical boundaries of my instrument. I call myself too, an irreversable "jazz believer", not only to pay some courtesy my master’s memorial, but also because I could see, long before I met himself that the music jazz could never be victimized on any particular ideology. For my living, I draw real 2d classical animation in my remote home-studio, for a company in İstanbul.

Miles Davis, a brain thet never passes

Hello Everyone,

Being a new kid hereabout, let me manifest what happens to me almost every time I take time to feed myself by Miles Davis' flying chords.

It should read more complicated than the following story, but please forgive my poor words that have less power than what it requires.

I push "play" button for, let say for "Fiesta",  and It is always being an act of re-creation of what hopefuly the similar "thing" at least, that was synthesized in Davis' own brain. The "thing" may not necessarily needs a trompet, but it does and should, take a media fust to be conveyed, where eventually,by fortune, being a trompet which also had a ghost in it, I believe. The re-creation of tunes, resultingly seems to me as it moves, taking none of any physical tool, from a brain out there to my own. I always have to remind myself that it happens as simply as a man out there, plays a trompet and I simply listen.

I think I'll need to hear these tunes during my voyage from the life to another one just for a comfort and tastefull trip.

Remain well tuned dear everyone,

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
