Tell us a little about your background...

Welcome to my world where music is everything.

I have been making music since age 4 and graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a doctorate just before my 21st birthday. Classical piano and the works of Chopin were and continue to be my first loves, but I write and produce music in many different genres.

Blues was something that I grew up hearing at home and to date I have released two albums of blues my own way, the first of which, 'In the Making' charted to #4 in the US Blues/Roots chart 2012 and the second 'My Own Shade of Blue'following suite in 2013.

It is now almost 6 years since my first release that took me to #1 in the Reverbnation blues chart and I'm still there, thanks to huge support from fans worldwide.

I also am very proud indeed to have been inducted into the US Blues Hall of Fame four years ago and more recently to have been added to the Admin Board of the US Women in Blues Society.

In addition, many single releases, notably the classic 'Earthcry' which has traveled round the world and back again, making friends along the way and flying the flag for our planet. I also released an EP of classical piano works and more recently a 16 track double album of many of my single 'singer/songwriter' work under the title 'Outside of Time'

All my released CDs are on CD Baby at

Underlying all this is my stage musical, based on an old favorite film and I have all the songs and stage directions, scenes, etc. ready to go. So all I need now is those huge amount of dollars that it takes to launch such a show in the US or UK. But I believe in my dreams and I believe in this one too.

And I have to mention my radio shows. They started as merely doing interviews and music for US Womens Radio but now comprise broadcasts on over 30 radio stations worldwide. Blues, World Music and Interviews.
The website is at where you can find the showtimes etc.

Music is a tyrant and a lover and often the creative process is I find almost an exquisite pain, but can be so fulfilling. Music is my life - that's just how it is!!!

Sometimes I regret I let it touch
My heart"

Dear Tommie,

The best of luck with your single.

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
