Always remember to love yourself,

for the person that you are,

put all doubts and fears upon the shelf,

and from them you'll go far.

Seek out positive people for friends,

that you enjoy to be around,

for true bonds of friendship never ends,

once it has been found.

Learn to forgive yourself,

as well as friend and foe,

mistakes we make is how we learn,

and from them we can grow.

Always pursue happiness,

but never lose… Continue

Artist Unknown

Sad, painted lovers,

portrayed as right Romeo, left Juliet.

Eyes cast downward

in front of a marble alter,

in a fifteenth century church.

No cipher of a wedding,

yet an impression of

one final embrace.

Whose deliberate brush strokes

captured this eternal?

Unsigned, unnamed,

they left no trace.

This intrigues me.

Draws me closer,

close enough to see the surface cracks.

My eye… Continue

Just let me drive

My blue jaguar

And sing and jive

My blue jaguar

It’s fast and blue

I’ve got no clue

Who’s got two faces

Who plays with aces

Let’s call it truce

State of ceasefire

Bomb with no fuse

It’s you I desire

Just let me drive

My blue jaguar

Need no excuse

For my rhyming blues

Wherever I drive

It takes me to you

My blue jaguar

Long road is blue

Had it punched… Continue

You ain´t gotta be my Prince

To sweep me off my feet since

I’ve met you I’m a happy mess

When I listen, you play jazz

All the notes´bout love’n stars

Are real for me not just a farce

Let’s get funky till we fall

Chance you’re Mr.Big is small

Don’t want you to be Mr. D***

Don’t wanna be Dominating b****

Can’t get out of it the kick

Rather call me silly old witch

Don’t wanna be your nice wife

Sure don’t wanna be… Continue

I’m the swallower of souls

I feel like hungry snake

The biggest of space holes

I´m real I am no fake

I´ll swallow every soul

Like dry sponge in a bus

In this world that is my role

They´ll vanish without a fuss

I swallow all empty faces

Like a fast burning match

Opened wide in all the cases

I wait, no need to fetch

Cause I can’t get enough

Cause I love tasty stuff

I’ll swallow every mind

My teeth ain’t… Continue

CHANTZ POWELL - A 21-Year Old Entertainment Phenomenon

By now, some of you have seen the photos and videos of Chantz Powell that I have posted on TJN.

As his personal publicist and on behalf of his management, Glindella Entertainment, I would like to formerly introduce, to you, this multi-talented Jazz trumpeter, who also sings, dances up a storm, acts, and is being touted by the B.B.C. (UK) as “the next Louis Armstrong/Sammy Davis Jr."

Often described by his peers as… Continue

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don’t
And believe that everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance to take it, If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said it would be easy. They just promised it would be worth it.

Words that back up faith

In this day and age, we are equipped with so many wonderful resources in the natural: technology, education, abilities. It’s easy to rely on our own natural strength for so many things. We have to remember that this natural world is only temporary, but the spiritual realm is eternal. We aren’t limited to the earth’s resources; we have unlimited spiritual resources by the Spirit of God. There are things in life that can’t happen by human thinking and reasoning. There are things that won’t be… Continue

Gonzalo Rubalcaba in San Diego

For quite some time, since listening to three or four of his CDs, I've been trying to catch up with Gonzalo Rubalcaba. Finally, he has made his debut appearance in the San Diego area and I was there, a part of it.

It was an incredible three hours of jazz. His music is an introspective journey that has strong power and can transform your personal feelings toward his art and music. The emotions I came away with could be equated to that of reading a novel containing many twists and… Continue

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
