We at the Royal Academy of Sherwood Forest School of Music Technology Need Your Help-A Non-Profit Corp.

NOTICE: DO YOU WANT YOUR CHILD OR LOVED ONE TO BE DEPRIVED OF ENJOYING TO MAKE MUSIC? TO COMMUNICATE IN THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE?

Please Help us out. We need only $850 to finish the paperwork to make this school a reality. We've spent thousands of dollars trying to make this happen and can't quit now. We are just tapped. Don't you want to give the chance to a regular individual to pay pennies on the dollar for the same services they would pay much more for…

Concert Info

Hello all,

This is just to inform you that my band, The SF Roadsters "All Star" Band will be opening for three days in a row in Berlin, Germany for a concert series called World Peace One or WP1.com. We are opening for three extremely huge legendary R&R bands and I have a song written for "World Peace" that will be played at the end of each show. There is also a sister venue in S. Korea, featuring three US bands which will be performing the same song. Wish us…

The Royal Academy of Sherwood Forest School of Music Technology

Hello all,

Just received news from Legal Zoom that my corporate paperwork for the state is now complete and ready for submission. Since Legal Zoom claims to have a 100% success rate with filing and getting these papers approved, I am optimistic that all will be great as far as this being a non-profit corporation. I will keep everyone posted and remember that this is not just a school for people in this area but that it's web based, and we will eventually be broadcasting to…

Songs of Gold Publishing

We are happy and proud to report that our publishing company has been connecting with a lot of new clients who seem to like our style. We just had a wonderful thing happen, where one of my clients, has hit number four on the British Charts and hit number twelve today on the American Charts (FM) and internet radio. We have other clients who are on the verge of breaking through as well and if you are, in fact, looking for a publisher, you need not look any further. Our company would be happy…

The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!

Duke Ellington: Highlights Of His Twilight

The great composer and bandleader was distraught over the 1967 death of Billy Strayhorn, his songwriting and arranging partner of 28 years. But Ellington took Strayhorn's passing as an impetus, born of necessity, to increase his own productivity. Here are five examples.

Chris Potter Quartet On JazzSet

At the Village Vanguard, one flight down from the hubbub of New York City, in a tight space packed with people, we're about to embark on a musical odyssey by sea. Our captain is saxophonist Chris Potter, who's launching his Odyssey-inspired album The Sirens.

Pat Metheny And John Zorn: A Vivid Sound World

The two artists are known opposites in the world of instrumental music. On Metheny's latest, the jazz guitarist wrings an unexpectedly visual listening experience from Zorn's knotty compositions.

Sarah Vaughan: A New Box Set Revels In Glorious Imperfections

Divine: The Jazz Albums, 1954-1958 packs four CDs with Vaughan's music, recorded live or in the studio with bands big and small. Two live albums from Chicago nightclubs are standouts, partly when a performance threatens to slide off the rails.

Rudresh Mahanthappa On Piano Jazz

Mahanthappa brings an explosive blend of jazz and South Indian classical music to the studio.
