BLUE JAGUAR

Just let me drive

My blue jaguar

And sing and jive

My blue jaguar

It’s fast and blue

I’ve got no clue

Who’s got two faces

Who plays with aces

Let’s call it truce

State of ceasefire

Bomb with no fuse

It’s you I desire

Just let me drive

My blue jaguar

Need no excuse

For my rhyming blues

Wherever I drive

It takes me to you

My blue jaguar

Long road is blue

Had it punched… Continue

HAPPY TOGETHER

You ain´t gotta be my Prince

To sweep me off my feet since

I’ve met you I’m a happy mess

When I listen, you play jazz

All the notes´bout love’n stars

Are real for me not just a farce

Let’s get funky till we fall

Chance you’re Mr.Big is small

Don’t want you to be Mr. D***

Don’t wanna be Dominating b****

Can’t get out of it the kick

Rather call me silly old witch

Don’t wanna be your nice wife

Sure don’t wanna be… Continue

SCARY SONG

I’m the swallower of souls

I feel like hungry snake

The biggest of space holes

I´m real I am no fake

I´ll swallow every soul

Like dry sponge in a bus

In this world that is my role

They´ll vanish without a fuss

I swallow all empty faces

Like a fast burning match

Opened wide in all the cases

I wait, no need to fetch

Cause I can’t get enough

Cause I love tasty stuff

I’ll swallow every mind

My teeth ain’t… Continue

OUR LOVE

Stuck with rum and old coat

Stuck in Doom’s Day last hour

Stuck on the broken boat

Stuck with skeleton flower

Fear therapy and hard rock

New words on an old tune

Halloween’s back in the dock

Friday the 13th comes soon

New songs that sound old

Tickets for ferry are sold

Body stays on the other side

Soul left without a fight

An ego with soapy sponge face

Jeepers creepers, death race

Body stays on the other… Continue

FERRARI DREAM

If I was your red ferrari honey I would

Let you enter inside me like you should

I'd let your hands caress honey I would

My leather upholstery just like you should

And with no stress oh honey I would

Let you grip the steering wheel like you should

Then I ‘d let you drive me honey I would

Through your daring dreams just like you should

If I was your red ferrari honey I would

Let you take me anywhere like you… Continue

The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!

Rudresh Mahanthappa On Piano Jazz

Mahanthappa brings an explosive blend of jazz and South Indian classical music to the studio.

Grady Tate On Piano Jazz

Grady Tate began his jazz career as a much-celebrated drummer, backing such icons as Wes Montgomery, Ella Fitzgerald, and Quincy Jones. Tate has since traded in his skins for a microphone at center stage, where he delivers smooth and soulful baritone vocals. With pianist John di Martino, Tate sings "Everybody Loves My Baby" and "Where Do You Start."

Woody Herman At 100: 'A Blues Player From His Heart'

He was a soulful reedman, an amazing talent scout for decades and a bandleader of one of the country's most popular acts. Born in 1913, Herman led "Thundering Herds" that were both big draws and well-respected by the likes of Igor Stravinsky. Here are five recordings which still sound fresh today.

Edmar Castañeda And Friends On JazzSet

Hear passionate improvisation across borders on Colombian harp, Argentinian bandoneón, Venezuelan cuatro and vibes from the U.S. In a set with Castañeda, his trio and special guests perform at the Americas Society in New York.

Miguel Zenón Quartet: Live At The Village Vanguard

Ever since he started becoming one of the best alto saxophone players in the world, Zenón has drawn from his upbringing in Puerto Rico. But, like many Puerto Ricans, Zenón lives in New York — where his quartet of 10 years has finally been invited to play the Vanguard. It presents new music in concert.
