Hi and blessings!
Although I've not physically met Steven Charles, or Karen Greene, or you yet, it is true we are much more alike, than we are different.
Steven and Karen both agree that the best way to promote this jazzy culture is to "Be the change you want to see". (Gandhi).
No good comes of criticizing, condeming, or otherwise complaining about other's tastes in music, or lack of enthusiasm, support, or venue.
It works by working it. "Be the Change" is a great mantra or rallying cry. A message with real power. Jazzy music, and works of art that bring the listener to peace and into the same heart space as the artist is always beautiful, happy, inspiring, and full of truth....always expanding as it's created, and appreciated. Creating fans and entrepeuners by "Being the Change", is an effective promotional tool. It is better to understand, than to be understood. This is where Happy Land lies. Take it to the bridge!
