HAPPY NEW TO THE JAZZ NETWORK. ALL THE BEST IN 2010.

Wow, 2009 was a pretty amazing year. Lots of great things happened.
Some of the highlights for me were, performing at the famous Band Shell in New York´s Central Park in September, visiting family and friends in New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, and bringing my 1956 Gibson Les Paul guitar (a present from my dad when I was a kid) back with me to Berlin, Germany. Man, did I have a GREAT time. I´ve got tons of photos, and just uploaded a few of me at the airport bringing back my guitar. I love New York, and I felt really at home there, but it´s just too expensive to live there anymore. :( So, Berlin is my 2nd home. Not sure I´d rather live anywhere else right now. Back to 2009. I received a new endorsement deal with Protection Racket cases, and am still #1 on the Full Artists List at the Zildjian website. http://www.zildjian.com My Online Mixing and Mastering business has been booming all through 2009, and I´ve mixed and mastered songs and Cd´s for artists from all over the world, like Italy, Angola, Australia, USA, Belgium, Denmark,Norway, England, and more, in many different styles of music, ranging from Jazz, Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Pop, Film Soundtrack, Folk, New Age, World, Electronic, and many more. So 2009 has been an amazing year, and I´m really looking forward to 2010, a new decade, and a new time of change. :)
I wish all of you the best, lots of good health, love, happiness, and success in 2010.

All the best,
DICARLO

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
