hi,
I am glad to announce the release of my debut CD called "Interro Island". This is my first solo project, which includes original tunes composed and arranged by me. I hope you will enjoy my work!
Thanks for adding me on here! I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a jazz saxophone player -- Been one all my life. Started playing gigs in New York City when I was 15 years old. Now I live in Houston, and I released my debut album last year. I'd played on lots of other artists' albums, but I was always more focused on live performances for myself. I'm pretty happy with my album though! If you are interested you can check it out: http://larryslezak.com/blog/buy-the-album/.
If you get a chance, I'd love to learn more about you! Message me back if you have time.
Hi Andrew...pls check my page, more changes are still tb done, finally I've uploaded new song samples and 2 more songs tb uploaded, but I could not wait to tell you. Maybe you'll like some of them. Have fun, P
Okay .. so I guess I better make sure my Rubber Ducky inner tube is all patched up and ready to float!!! Guess great minds think alike ... I asked Ken about duets as well. BTW, I'll be in Houston for a whole hour on Nov. 13th and on the 17th .. on my way to and from Austin. Dena
I'm hoping I have just what you're looking for. Please visit my website/myspace page. Let's Pretend We're Famous is sometimes done as a duet...and I have a couple of other songs I can send you - if you send me your e-mail address.
Sure, but it's all in the arrangement. I have oddles of tunes at http://pages.prodigy.net/sheilagenealogy . They're sorted in the grid by style. There are several swing section e.g. (meaning swing tempo). But it's up to your arranger to make a "big band" chart for you.
Well, I'm dusting off my suitcase. I'm figuring on coming to Houston to rehearse or to Vegas to work!!! You just KNOW we're gonna have a blast!! Can't wait!!!
That's why your heart is in a cramp? WOW, I never thought I'd hear a big band chart with a lyric leading people to the Lord. WOW...amazing, I really like what you did here.
Congrats, great big band sound backin' up your very strong voice and message. Don't let your heart stay in a cramp! Brilliant!
Great to hear from you Andrew! Wonderful news all the way around. I love how God Works! You have to be feeling full of blessings! I look forward to hearing what you guys did in the studio! Weeeeeeee!
Nice to see you back.
....and thank you for your kind words to me....much appreciated ;-)
It's been a while, how are you? Just wanted to 'check in' and see if you were with the whole family this weekend. I know you must be so happy that your son is home!!
Thanx! "World on a String" is nice. Who did the copy of the Sinatra chart? Sounds like a smaller band. You are working with some heavies. Didn't Zinno used to live here in NY? Would like to send some tunes. Need your email address to send active demo links, please. Ross untemporarymusic@prodigy.net
Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.
I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.
My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Mr. Smith’s biggest hit, “Walk Don’t Run,” became famous in covers by other bands, notably the Ventures. Mr. Smith, the writer of “Walk, Don’t Run,” gave up his career in 1958 to care for his daughter.
