Maja;

Thank you for the follow-up. I will have my manager contact them after the first of the year.  I checked out the website and noticed that the Novi Sad Festival, as well as the Belgrade Festival sound promising. It appears that they have workshop opportunities, which I have a lot of experience doing, so, maybe be will get a chance to meet? I enjoy your sound. Keep making great music.

Best

Nicolas

Nicolas has been a member of Bobby McFerrin’s renowned a cappella ensemble “ Voicestra” since 1990, as well as a solo artist in his own right. His dynamic show contains original music, as well as jazz and blues standards, and he has thrilled audiences around the world with his soulful interpretations.

In 1998 he released his first CD, “Crossing the Line” on his own imprint, Right Groove Records, which garnered fans, and great reviews in the UK, and a sold out concert at the Jazz Café in London. In 2005, Nicolas released his second CD, “ All about Love” which rose to #7 on the charts on Canadian Smooth Jazz radio, followed in 2008 by his release of “Live at Yoshis – A salute to Lou – a tribute to the music of legendary Lou Rawls.

Maja, I just heard your version of Misty, one of my favourite tunes, and I love the way that you fashion it, playing the minimum of notes but still maintaining the melody. It's what I try to do in my gouache portraits, let the viewer see what I haven't painted. Looking forward to hearing more of your work, Del.

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
