Hey Tony, after you sent me the information about your interview here on the Jazz Network, I came to the website and joined. I'm really lovin' the music on Small World. But on your next CD, you must use some of my artwork. ;-) Wish I could hear you live sometime if you ever come to Los Angeles. Luv, Sharon Barnes
Tony -- thanks for your friend's request! It's good go meet you through this site. After reading your bio, I must say -- you are a busy guy! You're into math -- now that's cool -- I'm just comfortable counting to four, or sometimes 8, and 12.
Hi Tony, thanks for the invitation, your music is.... ouch! I really like bass, in fact if I was a musician it would be my instrument. I've read also your background, stay like that, outside of the box, not always easy but the... view... is so much better. Best regards. Michele Andree
Hi Tony, at the risk of you getting too many "doggie" stories..I too have a dog (bijon-maltese) and he indeed does look exactly like the one in your picture His name is Dexter (named after the great man.) I live in Melbourne and today is a warm day here. I have had a quick read of your page..hmmmm interesting...and a listen...great to hear you..and we have the same heroes..James Jamieson and Joe Z anyway I'm off to London on friday for 3 weeks to do a bit of singing...hope we can stay friends. Yolanda
& thank you for your comment ... That was written 2 years ago, after someone had broken my heart... you had guessed I am sure !!
I'm having breakfast right now (6:25 am here in France !), enjoying your music !Wonderful way to start my day !
Blessings from France,
Thank you Tony. I'm just trying to keep up the standard of the Cats such as yourself that has inspired trained and supported my music education in Baltimore. Peace and numerous blessings for you and your family. Can you put me in touch with David?
Your music and sound is great. I grew up listening to you in B-more. I played quite a bit with Gabrielle coming up and I met Dave at Berklee. Listening to you sure makes me home sick. Please give Dave and Gabrielle my contact info. It's been so many years since I've seen them. Thanks for the music and hopefully when I come home we can hook up and make some sounds. Let me know when your in Cali. Peace and Blessings.
Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.
I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.
My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."
