Hey John,
I emailed my family and they know all about you man! They asked me if I'm coming that way to perform now that we've connected. Please keep me in the loop. Peace and Blessings!
John, I am finally getting things started here, but nothing real has happened yet. Did one private party gig at Hilton Head in SC.
Sure. I'd love to bring a concert to your area. I have several concepts that I can do. Give me some feedback on what the possibilities are.
That Very Thought Of You is sung beautifully.
John,
Thank you for your kind words about the CD. I did have almost an entire orchestra on that CD, very fun!
Barbara Morrison, definitely, the others by name only. You are where now?
Thanks! Julie
Hey John. Thanks for your very nice comments. I really appreciate it. I have never performed in the US believe it or not. I have lived and worked in Spain for most of my adult life. The jazz scene here has some amazing musicians but the work is poor. I used to make a living playing with big bands and as a house vocalist with two big record companies. And I even fronted Supreme's tribute act for one of the big Casino's on the costa:) But now I am concentrating on what I have always wanted to do, which is jazz. It doesn't pay but it is very rewarding. I hear you have picked one of the most difficult songs to sing here. Nice job but the backing track doesn't do you justice! Vx
Welcome

Welcome to THE JAZZ NETWORK WORLDWIDE "A GREAT PLACE TO HANG"
The Jazz Network is exactly what the title suggests, a place where you get to mix and mingle with those who have not only an appreciation for Jazz but a forum to hear new up and coming artists as well. I've hooked up with so many of my old friends that I've lost contact with over the years here and it's been a great place to meet folk, appreciate good music and Musicianship. What an incredible idea!!

The two artists are known opposites in the world of instrumental music. On Metheny's latest, the jazz guitarist wrings an unexpectedly visual listening experience from Zorn's knotty compositions.
Divine: The Jazz Albums, 1954-1958 packs four CDs with Vaughan's music, recorded live or in the studio with bands big and small. Two live albums from Chicago nightclubs are standouts, partly when a performance threatens to slide off the rails.
Grady Tate began his jazz career as a much-celebrated drummer, backing such icons as Wes Montgomery, Ella Fitzgerald, and Quincy Jones. Tate has since traded in his skins for a microphone at center stage, where he delivers smooth and soulful baritone vocals. With pianist John di Martino, Tate sings "Everybody Loves My Baby" and "Where Do You Start."
He was a soulful reedman, an amazing talent scout for decades and a bandleader of one of the country's most popular acts. Born in 1913, Herman led "Thundering Herds" that were both big draws and well-respected by the likes of Igor Stravinsky. Here are five recordings which still sound fresh today.
