LUTHER!! MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND! I WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH! I JUST HEARD ABOUT YOUR PASSING! I SO WISH I HAD MET YOU IN PERSON! I LOVED YOU FROM AFAR & NOW I WILL MISS YOU GREATLY! YOU WERE A WONDERFUL, SWEET SOUL & A PRECIOUS FRIEND! NOT TO MENTION A MOST OUTSTANDING MUSICIAN. REST IN PEACE, MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND! THE MUSIC WORLD HAS LOST A TREASURE! I LOVE YOU.
Let's see now, Gibson es137 Gibson les Paul studio,Ibanez Artcore# ? Ibanez acoustic electric steel srting, Ibanez nylon string acoustic electric. Godin Multiacs nylon string acoustic electric, Fender strat, And my Favorite My heavily modified Epiphone Emperor Regent re-fitted with Kent Armstrong pickups. When are you going to invite me up for a gig? I have plenty down here if you would be in the area anytime.
Beautiful harmonics going there, and I see you're holding that guitar like it ain't no piano too! ;0)
Thank you for sending a friendship request, sorry it came with a breather from a non-cybernet specialist, but welcome all the same.
As for "Tell Me A Bedtime Story Now", well, wonderful pick, wonderful G. Benson influence, with your own voice of course. Your arrangement is both very personal and reminiscent of all our childhoods ;)
Love your mature choice on the vocal track as well, I think it's called "Wrapped Around Your Fingertips" ~ reminds me of Phillis Hyman for sure (what is her name?!!)
Also, had the chance of doing TV backgrounds for Dianne Warwick in my own time, a little story there to behold as a young girl - would love to hear more on that from you ;)
What else... I definitely need to tap into that Les Paul sound, bless his homecoming soul *
Hello Brother Luther, thanks for adding me as your friend on The Jazz Network. Love your sounds. Their's nothing like some show-nuff Jazz playing while in the studio painting. I look forward to herein more of your music. GOD BLESS!
Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.
I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.
My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."
