Skin soft like velvet

Touch of a snake yet

Embrace firm and warm

Quiet before a storm

Bottle full of rich wine

Our hearts pound like sick

Your body turns in jaguar

Must be the wizard’s stick

Energy around’s soothing

Black pearl in rough sea

Energy around dark magic

Black pearl in rough sea

Our hearts pound like sick

Must be the wizard’s stick

And glance at your eyes

Crystal clear, no… Continue

Purple light crawls slowly

Through the door of my private bar

Life here rolls on slowly

In light years it´s not so far

Welcome, it´s my Happy Hour

I´ll get you glass of cheap wine

Hurry it´s your Happy Hour

Your chalice of wisdom, that´s fine

Bar´s opened for wandering souls

Come on, enter, be smart

Love’s for free not just one hour

Come, have a taste of my heart

Feel free to drink from my potions

Feel free to… Continue

I levitate among clouds

No ground under my feet

I start to descend slow

Can hear the music beat

I fly through the rings

Rings of cigarette smoke

You drank up your drinks

You seem a happy bloke

I fly through the rings

Rings of cigarette smoke

Your ciggy stinks

I ordered a coke

Clouds hang in the dark

Not a move, they’re still

You’re going too far

I’ll pay the bill

Clouds are like… Continue

Like an ancient hulk

Our star hovers in space

Place enough to skulk

(When)times roll in quick pace

In ocean of Love

Just Pina Colada

Blue sky with black dove

And la loca vida

So help me find

Our fate’s reflection

Be my state of mind

My mental obsession

While heavenly cows

Are dancing for life

Your eyes like deep holes

To plunge in or dive

Dream of sweet cake

Under bed cover

Who… Continue

Am I stooping too low in posting a blog about this? I had two gigs fall through (June 13th and June 14th). If anyone needs a drummer for either of those dates, I'm available!

Deep red roses

Taste of mango

In sweet doses

Tune of tango

Wanna feel fine?

Meet Valentine

One day of bliss?

He’s what you miss

He's here to tease

He's here to please

One day of bliss

You might get a kiss

Like Paradise devil

He’s very clever

Try, make him stay

More than one day

Friendship’n love

The dove from above

Forever same story

Much fuss'n no glory

Like… Continue

Emergency Dime

I always carried my emergency dime.

A phone call was 10 cents back then.

My dad would ask me if I had it on me.

It would be in a tiny purse or pocket,

in place of a penny in my loafer,

or chained to a belt loop in one of those plastic coin purses

that smelled so good I’d walk around with my nose in it.

My emergency dime had supernatural powers;

I could call from anywhere on the planet

and get my dad to come… Continue

Puerto Rico Jazz Festival

Well, after an eleven year hiatus my wife and I have decided to attend this year's Puerto Rico Jazz Festival. The lineup is a great one with Jerry Gonzalez and the Fort Apace Band, Pat Metheny, Dave Valentin, Ahmad Jamal and many more. Considered to be one of the best festivals in the Caribbean, the Puerto Rican audience gets totally involved with the music while the sets are long, the music great and the weather balmy while the rice and beans are ever tasty. In a future blog I will try to… Continue

Jaijai, what a wonderful mission you've undertaken to create such a place for artistic minds to meet and share their hearts. A place to renew faded determinations, and revive lessened momentums. A place to display our wares and reconfirm to one another that we actually are on the right track.

I commend you, Jaijai, for caring so much that you created this castle of the heart for all of us. I want to share my praise for all of the new friends as well as old friends that I've met and will meet here in our castle. Here we can garnish the where-with-all, the strength, the conviction, and the selflessness through our symbiosis, to share our gift to the world with an unbiased agenda.

My mentor, Daisaku Ikeda says of art: "A beautiful flower delights and refreshes the hearts of all people equally, no matter what soil it grows in. That is the power of beauty. The same is true of great art. It is this spirit that the German poet Heinrich Heine sang of when he wrote that once the peapod bursts open, the sugar peas inside are for everyone to enjoy."

Let's be audacious, my friends!
